This sculpture of Prometheus stealing fire from the gods (Olympus) is now located at the reactor site at Chernobyl. Hopefully the recent Earthquake and subsequent Tsunami in Japan, the fear of another disaster will give the human race some pause before building another one. It is odd that they have only moved people 12 miles away from this possible meltdown as 30 kilometers is the range of radioactive poison still present at Chernobyl 25 years after! I have previously blogged about Chernobyl and the art that remains at the site today.
