RIP Speedy Gonzales

I had to kill one of God's creatures today.  I had to do it in a way that would not hurt Syd.  There were holes in my roof, and after 5 years of telling my landlady about it...the roof caved in, and nature came in.

Syd knew this rat was in the house.  So we set traps, and the landlord put a new roof on the house.  Hopefully, there are not any more of this rats relatives hanging out.  The size of the holes in my ceiling could let much larger varmits in.  I was asked to leave when this was all going on, but Syd and I want to stay and this was not our fault.

We have a new roof, but lots of repercussions of the delay, and me being blamed.  I have to pay rent tomorrow, because I don't want to move.  Please pray us as we persevere.  This rat evaded two kinds of traps for over a week....until today.  I named him Speedy Gonzalez because he got the bait, but evaded the trap.  Let us hope I am as lucky.  More lucky as Speedy.  It is a treacherous world.

Divine Designs Has Moved

I had to move my jewelers bench this weekend as the ceiling fell in on top of it.
What a mess.  Thankfully, I am getting a new roof.  Hopefully, I will be able to continue working through the chaos.  I have told the landlord for 5 years that this was going to happen.  Now it has.  Thanks for all your prayers.

Who Is Ma Roberts?

I caught her at a private moment with her grandson.  It was glorious.  This is back in the day with old cameras.  Hopefully people are out there with their cell phones recording moments like this.  Old people can still throw footballs to their grandchildren.  No vidieo games back then.  Grandma had to know her stuff.  I imagine that that little child tried his hardest to catch that ball.  I failed as a photographer to capture that.  Ma Roberts is well loved in Granville Ohio.  Can you imagine an old woman throwing a football to her grandson?  He caught it, but, I was not able to capture his capture.  He is still alive, but she is not.  Go Bucks!  She threw the football and he caught it.  We all cheered.  Happy Independence day patriots!  These shitheads that are censoring us are making it very difficult, if not impossible, to share information, let alone rotate a picture.  I assure you the grandson caught the ball, and it was spectacular to see it, and I didn't catch the catch.  I bet that grand kid still remembers a Grandmother like Ma Roberts though.  A true feminist, who would never associate with the modern day feminists...who would ban football along with guns.  Dumb asses.  Let the games begin.  Ma Roberts looks down from heaven.  Rotate the second picture if you can.  Blogger won't let me.  Perhaps they are the biggest censor of all!
