Thank You

Sometimes it is time to do the "changing of the guard". I appreciate everyone who donated to Stubby's surgery. I also appreciate that it is time to start looking at new ideas....new goals. The old tool needs to be retired and the new tool needs to be forefront. Thank you everyone who has helped Stubby get back to health. I could not have done it without all your help.

In this photo is my old broom from 1987 that has served me well through thick and thin, next to my new broom 2011, next to my Great Grandmothers cauldron that continues to be of use.

The Tao Te Ching, The Yin & Yang, And The Space In Between

A few years ago I studied The Tao Te Ching. While I was engrossed in this ancient work, I made a few Yin and Yang pendants. 3 to be exact. The other day I sold the 3rd one. I had forgotten though that I became fascinated with the space in between the yin and yang and created a silver piece that represents it. I emphasize that it is not the actual space in between the yin and the yang, but only a symbol of it. I took the concept of the space, and made it into a solid symbol!

Note: Stubby has all the funds he needs for his tooth extraction! Thanks everybody who donated!

Stubby's Healthcare Fund

Stubby is scheduled with rascalunit.com to have his broken off canine extracted on March 31st. I have $10 towards that operation and a call into rascalunit to get a clearer idea of the total. On their webpage they leave it to after an exam the cost will be determined. They had quoted me a price prior to his neuter that was counting the anesthesia from his neutering. He will need to be anesthetized again as I could not raise the additional $78 at the time. If I can't raise the money then I will have to cancel till a later date. Even though Stubby in neutered, he feels that he must guard his territory as shown here running off the newest stray. Please donate if you can. The donate button is at the right hand top corner of this blog.
Update: I just got a phone call from Rascalunit and his surgery with anesthesia is gonna be $35. I have 2 $10 donations already and so I only need $15. Can anybody cover the rest? I won't have my monthly check till the 1st, so I won't be able to cover the difference in time for his appointment. Please help if you can. And thank you everyone who has helped out so far!
Update 2: Stubby just got a $20 donation that gives him the funds he needs for his tooth extraction. Thank you everyone who has helped out.

My New Feral Friend

This guy showed up a few days ago. I think he was left behind in a foreclosure or eviction situation. He has burrs and my semi feral cats run him off from the food bowl. I would like to catch him and remove the burrs but he doesn't trust me yet. I am still working on raising money for Stubby the cat. I don't know how many cats I am feeding every day. But I will continue as long as I am able. I have a knack with them. The donate button is at the top right of this blog. Thank you Frijolito farm for setting up the account for Stubby. If I raise enough money for Stubby the cat's tooth extraction, then I will work on raising money for Frontline. I will need lots of doses. I am also trying to procure some basic grooming tools. I want to start grooming my semi feral cats and treating their ear mites.

Stubby Has His First $10

Stubby has $10 towards his tooth extraction that is scheduled for March 31st. His health is improving. Many thanks to SOS who donated the antibiotic for his eye infection. The infection is nearly gone. Thank you to everyone who helped get him neutered and his rabies shot. If I don't raise the rest of the money by the 30th I will cancel his appointment with the intention of scheduling it at a later date. If I raise more than his surgery costs, I will purchase Frontline in anticipation of flea season. I would also be looking for any cat grooming supplies that you may have around that are not being used. There are a couple of cats that have shown up recently that need grooming if I can get a hold of them. If I start grooming my semi feral cats, they will be more likely to let me treat them for ear mites. The donate button is at the top right hand corner of this blog. Please give what you can.

Note Stubby posed for this photo a few days ago when I picked up trash in the woods. He likes to follow me wherever I go. So my doctoring him must not be too bad!

The New Natural Cat

It is wonderful getting reacquainted with Anitra Frazier's book The New Natural Cat. I have bought this book at least twice possibly more. It is a great gift for someone who loves their cat(s). In 2007, I reviewed this book for eBay. Whenever I run across a worthy book, I review it in hopes that more people will find it.

The first fight I ever had with my X was over her decision to put her aging cat Spicy down. I suspected the dry cat food we were feeding them. I had already given away my copy of the The Natural Cat when my kitty passed. I didn't plan on having another cat, but sometimes cats will change our plans. I certainly never dreamed I would move in with someone who had 4! We had 5 cats at the time counting my cat Slate. It was during the holidays and her cat Spicy was failing. Back in those days I had a bank account, and I asked her if she could just wait a few days before calling the vet, and I used my debit card and ordered a used copy of The New Natural Cat from Amazon.com. Even though I knew about the 4D's that is the cornerstone of The Natural Cat, I knew that my X would not believe me if I just told her. I would be discounting and challenging all the years of her belief system and advertising that proclaimed she was buying QUALITY cat food.

It is a radical change of diet and change of thinking to decide to make pet food from scratch! It is a shame that she wouldn't have believed me without a book to back me up. But there is power in the written word that often overpowers the spoken word. My intuition guided me to let a book be the informer, instead of letting her shoot my idea down in a domestic fight. When the book came in the mail, I immediately opened it and read to my X about the 4 Ds of commercial pet food. It is a rude awakening to find out that by buying commercial pet food you are systematically making your cat and dog participate in a sort of cannibalism! It certainly isn't a subject that should be hashed out in a domestic argument. I know I didn't want to tell her what was in the Purina we bought at the grocery store.

It didn't take long for her to become enamored with the book, and the next thing I knew we were ordering a food processor and making our own cat food. It is a hard concept to understand that we poison our beloved pets everyday by feeding them toxic food. No one wants to believe they would do this. My X doesn't really value many books, so it was tricky to get her to even look at the hard truth that we were poisoning our cats. I knew it was urgent and that all our cats were having symptoms that probably stemmed from our choice of cat food which was Purina Cat Chow at the time. I left the book with my X, and I know she will use it and hopefully treasure it. Spicy not only lived but she became quite kitten like for awhile. As far as I know she is alive and well 6 years after her appointment with death.

It is hard to find a high grade commercial pet food. They are out there, but most of the commercial pet foods come from rendering plants. In some instances dead cats from the veterinarians office are thrown into the mix. I have heard they don't even bother to remove flea collars and tags. So not only are cats being fed their own kind, they are also being fed the chemicals and drugs that were administered at their deaths. The 4 Ds that are used in commercial pet food. The diseased, dying, disabled, and dead. It is not a pretty picture and if you see it clearly, you will not want to take a chance with commercial pet foods. I believe that our cats survived the 2007 pet food recall because they were no longer eating commercial cat food.

I gave this book away when I became catless for a while. The dear friend who has had the book is now catless, so it has returned to me. I notice that I have other cats showing up at the food bowl throughout the day. I admit that I am forced to use commercial cat food as I don't have an exact count of how many cats and critters eat dinner on my porch. One big black cat has a huge burr on his back. I know he is feral or semi feral and that I am probably not going to be able to remove that burr. I am sure if he had an owner the burr would be removed. There are lots of foreclosed homes in the area. Sadly, people sometimes leave their pets behind. I suspect my cat colony is the result of our country's present financial predicament. Ironically their care would fall to me, disabled and on a fixed income! I am reminded that Anitra Frazier started out as a cat groomer. I will be seeking the basic tools to try and take care of my cat colony. Please help me if you can. I will do everything in my power to help them thrive and survive.

Please donate to Stubby's upcoming oral surgery. I have been doctoring him everyday for his eye infection but his tooth has an exposed root and I can tell it hurts him. He is getting better. If there is any extra money in the fund, I will get some Frontline in anticipation of flea season. The donate button is in the top right corner of this blog.

*post note Stubby got a $10 donation today for his tooth extraction. Thank you to everyone who is helping out.

Haydee Scull Painting

An old friend of mine has this painting by Haydee Scull. I get pulled into this painting every time I look at it. I love the Judge character almost stepping out of the painting. My friend tells me he was a famous homeless man who walked around Havana everyday dressed as a Judge. The Scull twins were something else. Very playful and flamboyant. There is a Haydee Scull painting right now for auction on eBay. What a treasure to have one of these.
Don't forget about Stubby and his operation. The donation button is on the top right of this blog.

What Have You Done For Your Land Base This Week?

I participate in a forum that is about activism. One of the topics asks the question What Have You Done For Your Land Base This Week? Most of the time I stick to basics like feeding the semi feral cats, wild birds, and squirrels. Today I decided that I needed to pick up the trash that has accumulated in the woods across the street since November when I spent the day cleaning it up. After about 45 minutes my troublesome neighbor decided that he was going to confront me and give me a hard time. He said I was trespassing on private property and stealing and that he was calling the police. I didn't even look at him. I just kept picking up broken bottles, styrofoam plates, Frito bags, and Wendy's cups and straws. The outside cats all followed me. I must have been quite the sight. I was dressed in camo and wielding a trash spear with 5 cat guardians accompanying me. The police never arrived, and the trash was picked up. I wondered though if I was going to get arrested or fined for littering or some twisted fabricated crime.

In the the mid 1980's I went to the ocean every Sunday and picked up trash at Pemaquid Point. It was during those times I felt the closest to my Creator. Pemaquid Light House is the most photographed spot in the country they say. But I couldn't get a single shot that didn't have trash in the picture even though I was lugging one of the best cameras in the world. The God of my expanding understanding said "What Are You Gonna Do About It?". I consider it a holy sacred ritual to pick up trash. It always makes me feel better when I do.

Please consider donating to Stubby's surgery. The button is on the top right corner of this blog. I have an appointment for him March 31st. But if I don't raise the money he is just gonna have to live with a broken canine. I think it hurts him a bit.

I Lettered In Head Injury

Posted by Picasa
In the 1970's I played sports. I earned my letters in Basketball, Volleyball and Track. In the summers I played in a softball league. In my sophomore year during a volleyball practice I got my legs knocked out from under me and was knocked unconscious. My team mate blind sided me even though I called the ball "mine". She may have known I was blind on my left side. She may have forgotten. But still I had called the ball, so it really was an accident that should not have happened. I was taken to the hospital where I came back into consciousness, but I didn't recognize my mother, or my team mates. The amnesia was temporary and my diagnosis was a concussion. I went on to finish the season and earned my letter. Later in life I got knocked unconscious again and the MRI scan showed my old scar tissue and head injury in addition to the new one. I had no idea. I have had my head beat in several times in my 52 years on this planet. Almost in every instance it has been because I was hit by something or someone coming at me on my blind side. I was almost killed by a silent fork lift in the late 1980's and ended up being fired from a sheltered workshop for the disabled (ironically enough)!

Recently a new friend left a message on my answering machine referencing my disability. She was obviously jealous of my Social Security monthly check and heartlessly said "I don't have everything handed to me". She has no idea what I have had to live through and endure before being forced into applying for disability. The only major side effect from my head injury's has been the loss of short term memory ability. I can't remember numbers. I have to write important numbers down and keep them with me. It takes me years to remember my phone number and my address. It is frustrating. Our world and industrial society requires people to remember numbers. It is mandatory. It seems like such a small thing.

I was a fierce opponent in any sport I ever participated in. I do not regret my participation in sports. I do grieve the losses of any ability's that the world requires in the everyday workforce. It is too bad that my talents for other things are overshadowed by my disability. I always say "If I say disability fast enough, it sounds like this ability"!

My "friend" that believes I have everything handed to me doesn't know the story of how I got my disability check and what I have to do in order to keep it. She wouldn't want the head injury, blind eye, nor would she be able to survive on my gross income. She wouldn't be able to survive through the application process. Most of the time applicants are rejected 2 times and have to survive for that year with no income. It is quite the process and anyone who believes as she does, ought to try living on that amount and see if it feels like it is handed to her. She has living parents who lend her money. She has (had) a credit card and can borrow money (now in debt relief program). I was not on good terms with my family, nor did I ever believe in having credit cards. So I was faced with different options, made different choices, resulting in a different outcomes. There is nothing I have or have had in the past that has ever been handed to me! I have had to fight for every cent I have, and I even had to fight (legally) my brothers and sisters for my own inheritance!

I am blessed that I have a few means to supplement the monthly payment I receive. Few people can live on that low of an amount. It doesn't cover rent, and utilities. They expect us to live with other people I guess. That is the only time it really works out. So here I am with a very nice space and several cats that came with the property. I really can't afford them and their veterinary expenses. I admire Stubby. He reminds me of me, back when I was getting my head beat in too many times and my teeth knocked out and beaten into disability. He has been through hell. We both have. Hopefully his life will be better now that he is neutered.

Please donate if you can to Stubby's upcoming tooth extraction. The donate button is on the top right corner of this blog. Thank you to everyone who has donated funds and the cat food. I am blessed with many friends who do understand how expensive my present living arrangement has been.

Treating Ear Mites

When I dropped Stubby off at SOS, I authorized a rabies shot for an additional $6. They called me when he was waking up and told me he had ear mites. I did not authorize an ear mite injection as I reasoned that if Stubby had ear mites all the cats who interact with him have them. I don't throw money away, particularly money that has been generously donated. I am hoping to medicate all of them as I can catch them and using mineral oil in the syringe that I use to administer Stubby's antibiotic for his eye infection. He was pretty infected and infested when i took him in. Today he is noticeably better. I won't say he likes his antibiotic or the ritual we go through for me to get it into him; but he hangs out now all day long and accompanies me wherever I go. We have bonded. I am still hoping to raise the money to get his broken off canine extracted. Please donated to Stubby's Surgery located at the top right of this blog. Thank you in behalf of all the kitties who live outside here. I will be trying to score some Frontline soon. My neighbor Mayda gives the outside cats garlic, so fleas might not be an issue this year, but I want to be prepared. Syd will certainly get them and bring them into the house. It is just something that happens in the cycle of a cats life.

Stubby's Broken Tooth

I am leaving the donation button up for Stubby's operation even though his neutering is taken care of and he is healing up nicely. The first Veterinarian to look at Stubby, would not perform the operation because she found a broken off canine and she thought it best to only anesthetize him once and get both his neutering and tooth extraction done at the same time. Of course the spay and neuter clinic didn't do dental, and I didn't have the additional funds to take him anywhere else that day so I had to bring him home and release him till I could find someone who would do the neuter without the tooth extraction which I did delaying everything a week.
This is not a picture of Stubby's broken off canine. I could not hold his mouth open and snap a picture for you. This is pretty close to what his broken off tooth looks like though. Notice you can see the root? I have noticed that he doesn't join in to eat the crunchy cat food with all the rest of the cats in the morning, but rather he hangs back till they are finished eating. I think it might hurt him a little, although Stubby never complains. I have been trying to give him some soft chicken donated by Frijolito Farm whenever I can. I have some antibiotic that SOS donated to his cause for his eye infection. He also has ear mites that I will be trying to treat with mineral oil as soon as he gets his antibiotic treatments out of the way and I can get the right treatment. I believe I should treat all the cats for ear mites, rather than just Stubby.
Thank you for your generous donations of cat food this week and for your donations for his neuter. I don't guess I will have to buy cat food till Summer. I still have an appointment for Stubby for March 31st with rascalunit.org. I was shy $78, so I had to go with SOS for his neuter. If I can raise the additional funds for Stubby, I will go ahead and use the appointment. So please if you can, use the donate button at the right top area of this blog to help Stubby get back to purrfect health. Please note that the $78 was for the dental extraction but it was minus the fee for anesthetizing him as they were going to do the neuter at the same time. I believe I need to raise $96 for him as they will need to add anesthesia into his bill. I will call them tomorrow morning and find out the exact cost. I have almost 2 weeks to raise the funds. Please help if you can.

My New Broom

Aunt Sue (Sue's News) brought me a new broom last night. I have been looking for a USA made broom since I moved here last year. For those of you who know me well, know that for the last 3 years I have been raising my consiousness about the problem of outsourcing our products and jobs overseas. That consiousness has been expensive in that I know I can not do anything about it from a political standpoint. Most people just bitch about the problem. But I know in order to really understand the gist of it I have to consicously and deliverately replace everythiing I use that is made overseas with products made right here in America. It has been very difficult, but very enlightening. Aunt Sue chose a beautiful red handled Libman 100% natural broomcorn that is wire wound. It is a family company out of Arcola IL It matches the bright colors of my Fiesta. I feel like Harry Potter felt when he got his Nimbus 2000!

Stubby's Recovery

Stubby is back home now and recovering from his operation. The Vet's at SOS gave him a free 3 week dose (twice a day) of antibiotic for his eye infection. They wanted to treat him for ear mites at additional cost. I declined as I determined that if he has ear mites all of the rest of the outside cats have them as well. So a friend of mine (who I gave my copy of The Natural Cat) is bringing that to me as she has no cats at the moment; and I apparently have many! I remember that Anitra Frazier has a remedy in The Natural Cat about ear mites. Flea season is coming. I am going to leave the donation button up for Stubby and the rest of the outside cats. I need to fund his dental problem and I will need to address this ear mite situation. As always I am open to ideas that would be financially feasible. I took this photo of Stubby after his release from the undersized crate that he was confined in. They had wanted me to keep him confined for another 12 hours as he might be under the influence. They wanted me to keep him indoors which would have exposed my indoor cat to his contagion. Syd doesn't have ear mites yet, or an eye infection. I just couldn't do it. I set Stubby free the minute we got home from his operation. He immediately took up residence by the food bowl. You can see his bobbed tail in this photo. He got some stewed chicken not pictured here! He is recovering and I am going to get some help in administering his antibiotic for his eye problem tomorrow as my injured hand can not operate a syringe.

Enola Gay (Redundant I Know)

I wish I could find a better version of this!
Let us begin with a love song to nuclear power (bombs) plants....and melt down....with a cherry on top! Drill Baby drill! Oh....just the bomb dropped before nuclear power saved the Japanese. Did I miss something? Did they choose nuclear power to power their world after we used nukes on them to depower them...WTF!

Enola Gay, you should have stayed at home yesterday
Aha words can't describe the feeling and the way you lied

These games you play, they're gonna end in more than tears someday
Aha Enola Gay, it shouldn't ever have to end this way

It's 8:15, and that's the time that it's always been
We got your message on the radio, conditions normal and you're coming home

Enola Gay, is mother proud of little boy today
Aha this kiss you give, it's never ever gonna fade away

Enola Gay, it shouldn't ever have to end this way
Aha Enola Gay, it shouldn't fade in our dreams away

It's 8:15, and that's the time that it's always been
We got your message on the radio, conditions normal and you're coming home

Enola Gay, is mother proud of little boy today
Aha this kiss you give, it's never ever gonna fade away

Neighborhood Diner

I am greeted each morning by no less than 5 kitty cats who want a morning snack.
And sometimes they have company. Thanks Dave from freecycle for donating a bag of cat food for the cause. Stubby The Cat is scheduled for surgery this morning. Thank you to everyone who donated to his surgery. I will try to get his tooth fixed later.

Stubby's Appointment

Stubby goes in for his operation tomorrow. Unfortunately, I was not able to raise the $78 to get his broken canine extracted while he is anesthetized. Thank you everyone who helped me raise the money for his neuter. Maybe in the future I will be able to take care of his tooth.

Taiko Drumming About Tsunami

Perhaps there should be a song dedicated to a nuclear meltdown in addition to the taiko songs about tsunami waves. I heard this group called Taiko Dojo this morning on NPR. I learned part of a song about Tsunami from Eric Paton at Capital University a few years ago. This is a version of it. Certainly even though it was written for entertainment purposes, you can hear the urgency and warning in the composition. There was only 10 minutes between the earthquake and the tsunami on Thursday. Taiko drummers probably didn't have a chance to even get to their drums or their sticks. This art form was brought here in the 1950's from Korea. But it originates not as entertainment...but as warning for wars, big waves...and big quakes. If any of those reactor cores melt down it will be a very sad thing for all living creatures.

Prometheus Fire

This sculpture of Prometheus stealing fire from the gods (Olympus) is now located at the reactor site at Chernobyl. Hopefully the recent Earthquake and subsequent Tsunami in Japan, the fear of another disaster will give the human race some pause before building another one. It is odd that they have only moved people 12 miles away from this possible meltdown as 30 kilometers is the range of radioactive poison still present at Chernobyl 25 years after! I have previously blogged about Chernobyl and the art that remains at the site today.

Pure Oil

My Great Grandfather Ernest McKee, worked for Pure Oil Company, and my living Grandmother can remember when there was an oil well in every back yard in our little town Perryton Ohio. Her Grandfather Alan Robinson, was a blacksmith before that. I grew up in the same town. Our garage was a multipurpose building that contained 2 carriage bays (converted to car bays) as well as a wash house (used for summer canning). Across the driveway was a gas station/country store. So much has changed since the happy motoring days. This is a post card that is not our home in Perryton. But it is very similar to the full service gas stations that speckled the American landscape during the 50's and 60's. Gas station attendants not only pumped your gas, but also wiped your windshield and checked the oil! If gasoline prices continue to rise, perhaps blacksmithing will become important again, as instead of changing tires, horseshoes will be thrown in the mix. My Grandmother has seen a lot of change in her 93 years on the planet. She lost all her money in the bank during the stock market crash. She also lost all her money to a shyster banker that absconded with the whole nearby town's money. She tells her stories. I listen. I think there is nothing new that the scammers can come up with to make folks part with their money. The only thing they have to their advantage is that most people forget and history is revised.

Stubby's Adventure

I should mention that the Vet could not do the surgery yesterday as she does not do dental extractions at the spay and neuter clinic.

Stubby's Medical Fund

A big Thank You to all who helped raise funds for Stubby's neutering! You raised $58.39!
On March 9th, Stubby went to the Dr. and it turns out that he has a broken canine tooth. The Dr recommends he have it pulled at the same time he is anesthetized for his neutering. The tooth pulling will be an additional $78. So we are putting the button back up. Please give just a bit more to help Stubby with his medical care. Stubby's progress will be posted here and on Concha's Blog.
Thank You.

More About Stubby

Stubby is a friendly semi-feral male cat that lives in our neighborhood. Stubby showed up one day in 2010. He got his name due to his tail being only half as long as the typical cat's. In spite of his shortcomings, Stubby still thinks himself quite the ladies man. He has been getting in tussles with other cats in the neighborhood and getting beaten up by bigger rivals.

There are lots of causes, but here is one where you can see results. For a few bucks, you will contribute to preventing cat over-population in Columbus, and helping Stubby live a longer life. Stubby's progress will be posted here and on Concha's Blog.

Rainbow Moonstone Pendant

Some of my favorite projects are commissioned from a stone. This stone is certainly moonstone. But when I was working with it, I noticed it had some rainbows in places. I am guessing it is (appropriately named) rainbow moonstone. I have had many people ask me why I don't do consignment work. I can't afford to leave my work at a store. It just has never worked out. If you think about these shops that would have my jewelry in their case for sale, everything else in that store is purchased ahead of time. The books, the pottery, the herbs...all paid for up front. So why should the silversmith have to do consignment? Just because it has always been done that way does not make it the right way....or the only way.
My first jewelry was sold in a store on High Street here in Columbus called Trade Winds (affiliated and joint owned with Byzantium). I took my work in and a woman named Evette looked at my pieces, she asked me prices and she put an order in with me for 10 pendants. At the time I didn't drive a car, so it was a hardship to get back and forth to Columbus. But a few weeks later, I came back to Trade Winds and Evette wrote me out a check for all ten pendants and I haven't ever looked back. She spoiled me and for that I am grateful.
Unfortunately, I don't sell enough jewelry to make a living from silversmithing. My friends who are silversmiths teach classes...sometimes working two jobs to make ends meet. So it isn't as easy as it might seem, even if you can get past the consignment trap. In 1990 when I became disabled, I picked up my hobby silversmithing where I had left off to join the workforce. After a 40 to 60 hour week there just wasn't anything left for creative activities such as stone cutting, silversmithing, and other arts. And while I wouldn't wish a disability on anyone, my disability has not incapacitated me so much that I can not do art. I like to say if I say disability fast enough it sounds like "this ability". So my disability brought me back to an art form I had long left behind. There are people that do not know the story and do not understand what transpired, and are jealous of my situation. Hopefully they won't slip on a banana peel or something that would make them understand disability from the inside instead of the outside. It is no picnic. Mostly it is just a hard way to live and occasionally good friends and loved ones say unthoughtful and cruel things that can't be taken back. A blog can be edited and even deleted...but an unkind thoughtless comment can not.

My Other Car's A Broom

The history of the common broom is fascinating. I have a broom that I have had since the early 1980's that I am trying to retire. The problem is, I am looking to replace my broom that was made in America, with a broom that is made in America. Such a common item that we now import is hard to find unless it is in an antique shop. As oil prices peak I am guessing that brooms will be once again made in America or become scarce. I am in the market for a new broom. Please let me know loyal readership if you have a broom sighting!

Got Beads?

So now there are 3 choices for the feathers. Copper, Silver, and Silver with a gemstone bead. I am making these as fast as I can and offering them at a low price as I want all my buddies to have them. The ones in this picture are sugilite a relatively rare gemstone that comes from Japan and Africa. I can put any type of bead on these. I prefer gemstone beads. Call me if you would like me to make you one of these to your specifications.

Stop Asking Me To Come To The Statehouse

Let me know when someone wants to stand up for mother earth. I will be there with my bells, whistles, bows and drum
But....don't ask me to support cops who have beaten me...I am just not there yet....forgive me.

Well- you can have me all the time
Or you can never come my way
But Mother Earth is waiting for you
There's a debt you've got to pay
I don't care how rich you are
I don't care what you earn
You know that when it all comes down
You've got to go back to Mother Earth

You know you may have a million dollars
Or you may drive a cadillac
You may have enough money
To buy anything, anything you lack
Well- I don't care how rich you are
I don't care what you're worth
Cuz you know when it all comes down
You've got to go back
You've got to go back to
Mother Earth

You know you shook me, Babe
You shook me all night loooooooong
You know you shook me, Baby
You shook me all night loooooooong
You shook me so hard, Baby.....
