My bat house is finally finished and ready to hang. I chose an ebony stain as I am learning that bats like it warm. I need to find a perfect location near water that has the most solar exposure and at least 15 feet above the ground. I have been told that my chances of getting a bat tenant are better in the spring. But maybe I will get lucky and be able to hang it during Indian Summer.
