Blogroll Me!On facebook I found a fan site of ARTPRIZE an art competition. Here is one of the 2010 entry's and a description.
"A dwelling place", a collection of birds and birdhouses, at the Witter Bldg, has a story line.
12 post, 52 birdhouses and 365 birds represent people living with effects of mental illness 24/7 year round. Very well done, colorful, and captures the message it represents.
ArtPrize is a radically open competition. Open to any artist in the world who can find space. Open to anybody in the city who wants to create a venue. Open to a vote from anyone who attends. I so wish Columbus would do something like this. So mote it be!
