I have an old toy rolling pin from my childhood. It is missing a handle. Lucky for me, I still had the rolling pin that attaches. I used the metal template to find out how wide the widest part of the handle is, and traced it onto the top of this dowel after I drilled the hole for the pin. Theoretically, I can use my belt sander to shape the dowel and match the other handle.
