The Spirit Of Weegee

I saw a film last night called The Public Eye.  I think it was based on a photojournalist from the 40's nicknamed Weegee (it was supposedly a fictional character by another name) that we studied in History Of Photography in the 1980's.  This guy was on it!  He had the uncanny knack for arriving at a crime scene before the police (go figure).  I can only imagine what he could have done with a digital camera.  Certainly, he wouldn't be held up by a sticky shudder as I am.  I conjure Weegee to get the images I need...no matter what...for the good of all, according to the freewill of all...so mote it be!
